Pathogen Capture System

Initial product development efforts have been directed to the identification of infecting pathogens for diagnosis of bloodstream infections.  The nanoMR Pathogen Capture System has demonstrated performance for Gram + and Gram - bacteria, and various fungal targets.   Performance has been validated to <1 bacterium /mL in spiked samples, through PCR identification, and also in clinical studies in comparison to standard Blood Culture

nanoMR's technology can be applied to a variety of samples, such as surface swabs, blood, or urine samples, and a variety of targets, including molecular species, bacteria, eukaryote cells, such as fetal cells for amniocentesis, or cancer cells.
